Discovering Your True Identity
Click HERE to Watch Full Episode!
In this episode, we’re diving into a topic that hits home for so many of us—finding our true identity in Christ. So often, we let our achievements or failures define who we are, but the truth is, as believers, our true identity is found in Christ alone. When you stop defining yourself by what you’ve done, you start seeing yourself as God sees you—holy, righteous, and His special possession, even on your worst days.
The enemy wants us to attach our worth to anything other than God, but we’re here to change that narrative. Stop saying you’re a “hot mess” when God calls you blessed! In this episode, I’ll walk you through practical steps to discover who you really are:
Decide (by faith) to accept what the Word of God says about you.
Write down the lies you’ve believed about yourself.
Replace those lies with the truth of God’s Word.
Make it stick by writing affirmations from those truths and saying them aloud daily.
Acquire new language by listening to podcasts, books, and stories that empower you with truth. Pay attention to the words people use to speak about themselves.
